Vinca - Blue Periwinkle

Vinca, native to Spain and southern France, grows in Suwanee on a small section of hill that our house sits on. It holds down the red Georgia clay and delights us with gems like this one.

That something this beautiful could help keep a hill of clay in place is pretty neat. Also, I enjoy how your picture lends an inner light to the flower.

Curtis - I just don't view your personality as one who would appreciate beauty like this, so when you post things like this it blows me away. You're more of a straightforward, black and white kind of guy. Or so I thought. Beautiful - just beautiful.
